4th of July 2017

Good morning everyone, and Happy 4th of July!

I'm going to be keeping this fairly short today, but I hope this post finds you well and having a good holiday weekend to those of you who are American.

Ben and I have had a nice slow start to the morning today and are planning to go to a place called Reed Bingham State Park. We were searching for a more local place for us to visit and take a walk, so this seemed ideal. Definitely going to take the ol' sun cream and hat today though as it's meant to reach 94 Fahrenheit (34 Celsius)!

In addition I just thought I'd share a few photos that we have taken over the past few days. Ray City had their fireworks on July the 1st, so we watched those from our house. We also had a bit of fun with some 'Morning Glories', which are similar to sparklers but don't "fizz" as much. Are we big kids or what?!

Enjoy!

Something you may or may not know is that as well as Independence Day. The 4th of July is also the anniversary of our first date! Yep. On this day two years ago, Ben and I were meeting in person for the first time after a month and a half of talking online. It was the best 1st date that we'd both ever had, and it just kept getting better. We're so thankful to God for bringing us together!

Whatever you're doing today. Whether you're celebrating the 4th of July or not. Have a lovely and blessed day!

Will be checking back in soon.

Take care ya'll!

Kathryn.
